Sunflower oil Features:

Main parts of Sunflower oil refining:
(1) Degumming: Applied physics, chemical or physicochemical methods gum insoluble impurities in crude oil removal process become unglued. Edible oils and fats, if phospholipid content is high, when heated foaming, smoke, smell, and phospholipids at high temperatures due to oxidation leaving the oil was burnt brown, affect the flavor of fried foods. (4)Deodorization: In the presence of some non-required oil should smell substances, mainly from oil oxidation products. By vacuum distillation and add the citric acid chelated transition metal ions, inhibiting the oxidation.
(5)Dewaxing/Winterization:The wax in oil is ester formed by senior monocarboxylic and senior monohydric alcohol. The wax in vegetable oil is mainly in the hull, and secondly is present in the cell wall. Wax at above 40 ℃ can be dissolved in oil fat, so whether the crude oil is from press or leaching equipment, generally contain a certain amount of wax. The wax content in all kinds of crude oil is very different, the wax content of most of crude oil is minimal, but wax content for some of crude oil is high. Such as corn germ oil wax content is 0.01% to 0.04%, sunflower oil wax content is 0.06% to 0.2 %%, rice bran wax content is 1 to 5 %%. Generally the amount of wax-containing in oil is increased by the increasing of husk content of materials embryos.
